Hendrick's Farm & Dairy produces raw milk, farmstead raw milk award-winning cheeses and artisanal yogurts from grass-fed cattle. They produce grass-fed, hormone and antibiotic-free beef, pork, lamb, and free-range all-natural poultry and eggs. The farm is Certified Humane, practices stewardship of the land and utilizes renewable resources.
Pennypack Farm. Education Center for Sustainable Food Systems, Horsham, PA is a nonprofit educational organization and CSA. They provide fresh, local, organically grown vegetables, berries, herbs, and flowers to community shareholders while preserving land in the Wissahickon watershed. They partner with the Montgomery County Food Bank to provide food to low-income customers, and donate food to Philabundance and Hope Gardens. They offer an education program for children at College Settlement Camp, local schools, and summer campers. They also offer workshops to the community on topics such as chemical-free gardening, canning, and health-conscious family meal planning. Increasing public understanding of the health, economic, ecological and social issues involved in sustainable local food systems is a goal an outcome of this programming.
